Maria I. Martos, MS, CNMT, NCTMB

 

Maria Martos founded Sagewood Wellness Center to create an environment which promotes health and wellness.  She partners with you and other health care providers as needed to enhance your well-being.

A certified Neuromuscular Therapist, Maria Martos specializes in the treatment of severe, chronic or minor pain, as well as injury rehabilitation and prevention.   Maria is also Nationally Certified by the NCBTMB, and provides therapeutic sessions for those seeking stress reduction and relief from generalized aches and pains.  Additionally, she holds a certification in Sports Massage providing her with the expertise to evaluate and address athletic injuries and to help professional and recreational athletes improve their athletic performance.  Maria is also certified in Pre- and Perinatal  Massage, providing her with the expertise to address the unique needs of women during and after pregnancy.  Maria is an active member of the American Massage Therapy Association.

Maria is also a Reiki Master Teacher, and practices and teaches this ancient healing art.

She holds a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology, and has worked in the health care field for over 22 years.
